Singing Reel

Malek Hanna is a native New Yorker from Brooklyn. Classically trained since the age of twelve by several prominent vocal coaches, Rachel Rosales, from Julliard University being one, he projects an original yet classical and soulful sound. In 2004, Malek won BEST VOCALIST AWARD at the IMTA competition in NYC and has been performing on and off stages since then. He received great accolades and reviews in the LA TIMES for his performance in a Chicago Christmas Carol which previewed in Los Angeles: “Tim matures into a 17-year-old labor organizer who, as portrayed by power-piped Malek Hanna, delivers a workers’ song that is the production’s most rousing moment.”

​Malek not only has he been featured as a soloist at such prestigious venues as the Vatican for Pope John Paul II and at the Loyola Theater Co. in tribute to the NYC Bicentennial Anniversary, Malek has also been a part of multiple recognized theatrical touring companies in New York City and sang the National Anthem at the STAPLES CENTER for the LA LAKERS in 2013. He is currently working on being featured on soundtracks in a few prominent feature films that will be released in 2016. He is also a contestant on the hit TV show, ‘THE VOICE’ – Arabia (Season 3) that will be airing throughout the Mid-East and Asia in Sept. of 2015.
